Work in Progress – JFK CTA

Work continues at our JFK CTA project with our JV partner Skanska. Mid October the team reached an important milestone, as they completed one of the bridges and the PANYNJ opening for public use soon after. This bridge will start to alleviate traffic connections in, out and around the airport, making it much easier to navigate!

The “futuristic” new multilevel vehicle parking facility has also started to take shape and topping out with the first signs of the connecting pedestrian bridge advancing. In the meantime, major utilities are also being worked on that are critical to the airport operations! Our JFK International Airport’s Central Terminal Area (CTA) Roadways, Utilities and Ground Transportation Center (GTC) is part of the historic $19 billion transformation program at JFK. Being one of the busiest airports in the country, it is still fulling functioning with minimal disruptions, despite the multiple work zones around the airport taking place all at once!
