Halmar Wins 2024 ACEC Grand Award for LIRR Third Track Expansion Project

Halmar, along with its JV partners as 3rd Track Constructors, Dragados, Picone, and CCA, are proud to announce the LIRR Third Track Expansion Project has been selected to receive the prestigious Grand Award in the ACEC 2024 Engineering Excellence Awards competition achieved by its lead designer Stantec . One of the region’s most significant transportation infrastructure design-build projects initiated an improvement towards mass transit, reduction concerning traffic congestion, and promoted environmental preservation to enhance the quality of life for communities along LIRR’s Main Line.
